Webinar description

How do alternative proteins have the potential to improve animal lives? Professor Carla Molento started her engagement with cellular animal science from an animal ethics standpoint, which has led to initiatives such as introductory courses, research projects, outreach activities, and powerful partnerships, such as the one between the Federal University of Parana (UFPR) and GFI Brazil. Simultaneously, other relevant initiatives by different actors have evolved, resulting in further academic advancements in the alternative protein field. In this talk, Dr. Molento will highlight recent developments and current discussions regarding the alternative protein landscape in Brazil.
