Aminnah Ferguson facilitates the planning and execution of events and engagement activities at GFI, creating opportunities to connect stakeholders, amplify GFI’s mission, and drive positive change in the alternative protein sector.

Areas of expertise: program and event management, community building and engagement, sustainable project management, strategic partnerships, and leadership and coaching.

Prior to joining GFI, Aminnah Ferguson built a career as a purpose-driven leader passionate about collective healing and mobilizing society toward transformative global change. With extensive experience in program and event management, she held key roles in higher education and nonprofit sectors. At Georgia Institute of Technology, she led the planning of large-scale events, including international academic conferences, ensuring seamless execution for diverse stakeholders. At JDC Entwine, she enhanced alumni engagement through innovative programming and mission-aligned events.

As the founder of Soul Much Joy, a community-centered organization, Aminnah created spaces for connection, healing, and celebration, empowering individuals to navigate life transitions and embrace their strengths. Her work reflects a deep commitment to fostering inclusivity and advancing initiatives that leave a lasting, positive impact.

Aminnah holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Psychology from Georgia State University, along with certifications in Sustainable Project Management, Strategic Partnerships, and Event Planning. She is dedicated to creating equitable, sustainable, and compassionate solutions, believing that thoughtful collaboration and shared purpose can transform communities and drive global progress.
